Kayaking Adventure

Join the Carmel Seventh-day Adventist Church family for a fun day on the White River! We'll enjoy a scenic 5-mile kayak trip (approximately 3–4 hours) followed by a picnic and fellowship.

The cost:
$10 for adults and $7 for children, which includes kayak rental, a life jacket, and an individual snack bag for the trip.
We ask that you bring cash or Venmo Daniela upon arrival.

Details:
We'll make a stop midway along the river at a shallow beach area where participants can relax, enjoy a snack, and optionally wade or swim before continuing downstream.

Please keep the river beautiful by packing out all trash. Use the provided zip top snack bag to carry out any wrappers or other waste until we return.

*Daniela will have waiver forms available at the Outfitter on the day of the event. A parent or legal gaurdian must sign a waiver for each child.

Picnic Details:
A picnic will follow the kayak trip. Feel free to bring a dish, snack or drink to share if you’d like.

Reservation Required:
Reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited and reservations are filling quickly. To reserve your spot, RSVP with the number of people in your party and whether you prefer a single or tandem kayak*. Children under 10 must ride in a tandem kayak with a parent unless otherwise authorized by the parent.

Items to Bring:
Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, insect repellent, a towel, and any other items needed for your comfort.

*Kayak availability is limited, especially tandem kayaks. An accurate headcount is essential in making sure everyone gets the kayak they need.
